The seventh seal, or the lord`s day, consists of seven trumpet plagues: « When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and they were given seven trumpets » (Revelation 8:1-2). The first six trumpets sound in the year before the Second Coming of Christ. The seventh trumpet proclaims the good news of Christ`s return to rule all the nations of planet Earth: « Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven saying, `The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever!` (Revelation 11:15). While this is good news for true Christians, the nations will be angry (v. 18) and will actually join forces to fight against the returning king (Revelation 19:19). As we will see, this final battle in the Middle East will be fought near Jerusalem. Since taking office, Kerry has made it his mission to renew the dormant peace process by bringing Israelis and Palestinians back to the negotiating table. Seventy weeks are decreed upon your people and holy city to end transgression, end sin and atone for inaction, bring eternal justice, seal both the vision and the prophet, and anoint a very holy place. But the Bible is clear about this: no one knows when the end times will come, and there is no point in trying to guess when.

The prophesied « great tribe » will be a unique time in all of history – a time « when no one is like them. » What does the Bible tell us? Jesus tells us, « Always watch and pray that ye may be considered worthy to escape from all that will be satisfied and to stand before the Son of man » (Luke 21:36). After that, I heard the loud voice of a large crowd in the sky shouting, « Hallelujah! Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God, for His judgments are true and just; for he judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality, and avenged in her the blood of her servants. Once again, they shouted, « Hallelujah! The smoke from her rises forever and ever. And the twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell and worshipped God who sat on the throne and said, « Amen. Hallelujah! And from the throne came a voice that said, « Praise our God, all his servants, you who fear him, big and small. But the hope for a lasting peace would prove short-lived, and a few years later, Israeli annoyance was verbalized in a 2004 letter from then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to then-President Bush, who concluded that « there is no Palestinian partner with whom to work peacefully towards a solution. » Despite Sharon`s frustration and lack of confidence in the so-called peace process, he withdrew all Israeli security forces from the Gaza Strip in 2005 and dismantled all settlements. We can generally agree on the identity of these peoples mentioned in Ezekiel 38. And Bible prophecy shows that these armies will surely invade the Middle East at some point. But the question is: when? After the Second Coming of Jesus, he will work to bring peace to the world and to re-educate the nations (cf. Isaiah 2; Micha 4). But it will take time. Not all nations will automatically accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ when He returns.

Even Egypt will apparently reject the Lord`s command to hold the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem (cf.
